Flags to students in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades at a pre-selected
elementary school. The students from each grade read their winning essay
"What the American Flag means to me". These students are then included at the One Nation Under God program. |

Members of the Exchange Clubs in Durham and surrounding counties recognized the need for a program focused on preventing child abuse and neglect. In 1992 they incorporated the non-profit Exchange Clubs’ Child Abuse Prevention Center to meet the needs of families facing multiple stresses. |
